Sexuality

Jenny Streit-Horn works with individuals, couples and families dealing with issues connected to sexuality expecially in the context of difficulty of acceptance or any form of harsh judgement. We begin with setting up an client/therapist environment that is safe and non-judgemental. This includes appropriate boundaries set in place for communication to learn, practice, and build upon and that can be applied in relationships once you are comfortable and ready.

Jenny will help anyone in the LGBTQ community or who identify as non-binary as many have recently become bolder, more open, more public. Similarly, she works with non-monogamous (e.g., biamorous, polyamorous, or open relationships), or individuals whose sexuality is subject to any difficulty of acceptance or to harsh judgement.

Dr. Streit-Horn works with adult, adolescent, and pre-adolescent clients embracing the same attention to confidentiality and support as with any emotional or psychological concerns. She also encourages clients and their family to seek help with these issues as they have profound effects on our health, physical health as well as social and psychological health.

Answers to complex questions regarding sexuality are often a challenge for individuals, their friends and their family. This requires experience and supportive understanding to help explore and learn to accept what is there and how to open opportunities for working relationships with others.
